Please note: I AM A MOBILE NOTARY ONLY, I DO NOT HAVE AN OFFICE, I COME TO YOUR LOCATION.
Governor Jerry Brown authorized a new Bill AB 2217, which becomes effective on January 1, 2017. The bill allows for a new $15 fee cap for acknowledgments and jurats, in addition it includes raises for fees for other notarial acts. The last time maximum allowable fees were increased in California was in 1993 when the cap was set at $10.
